Opportunities for Members and Associates of LSSNMAIA.
Good governance is a crucial ingredient to effective, impactful organisations, and that includes boards whose trustees have different backgrounds and experience. As part of our commitment to continued professional development, innovations, advocacy, equity, diversity, and inclusion, LSSNMAIA is strengthening the board to better reflect the diversity and mission of LSSNMAIA. We will do this by seeking to elect committed board members from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, profession, lived experience, and with array of skills .
This year we have a number of board vacancies that we want to fill, with one trustee passing away last year, a few trustee openings, and some board members are at the end of their term, all vacant positions are up for re-election and appointments.
We are particularly interested in resourceful individuals with experience of volunteering, leadership, finance, marketing, technical, fundraising and management skills, from five regions of Lagos State, and elsewhere who are currently underrepresented on our board.
We normally ask for your CV initially to help us get to know you better and how we might capitalise on your skill set. Every nurse has some of the set that we need to manage our committees and executive Board at LSSNMAIA. We offer support, guidance, training, and promote group networking so our non-executive and executive members, so people are happy in their roles.
