LSSNMAIA Nurses Educational Funds (NEF) Scholarships
NEF offers financial assistance for graduate-level nursing students. Candidates should provide three references, a personal essay and goals statement, unofficial transcripts, and a $20 application fee.
Who May Apply
Applicants must be registered paid-up members of LSSNMAIA. RNs and current graduate students who maintain membership in a professional nursing association.
Specific guidelines vary by research project or degree.

The next application period starts in 2023-2025. Notification of scholarship awards will take place in July 2022. Applicants MUST have a minimum of two semesters of study remaining after notification of award (i.e. summer and fall; fall and spring)

Support Graduate Nurse Education
LSSNMAIA Scholarship purpose is to provide nursing scholarship assistance to make graduate-level nursing education possible.
LSSNMAIA invites all forms of funding from single to regular, and professionally endorsed sources of funds for an advanced nursing study to advance service to and for professional nursing.
LSSNMAIA Board of Directors is comprised of leaders from nursing, education, technology, and business communities.
Members donate their time and talent to the advancement of the nursing profession.
LSSNMAIA operates with exceptionally low resources.
LSSNMIA employs volunteers and aims to employ a multi-skilled individual who can serve in several capacities.
LSSNMAIA is a charitable membership association registering with the CAC and membership is therefore tax-deductible in parts of the world.
