- The probability that a sexually active male will get a new genital HPV infection (12 month period) is 0.29-0.3
- However, there is a difference in immune response that is seen in men and women

- The quadrivalent HPV vaccine has been shown to be efficacious in preventing persistent infection and genital disease in females
