ELECTION OF KEY OFFICERS TO VACANT OFFICE:
The election of additional key officers is ongoing and new appointees need to come from all regions, field of practice as well as representing active and retired nurses to apply.
INTRODUCTON / DISCUSSION OF VARIOUS COMMITTEE ROLES
(as per Policy): List of committees, officers’ roles and their job description are available on That different committees are essential for the smooth running of the affairs of the association. At least 10 to 12 appointments, and to include two per region resenting alumni group in that region. That committee membership will not be limited to alumni nurses only, to fulfil resource requirement, we will co-opt committed non-alumni nurses, medical and allied health associates to deliver our objectives.
That we need to attract people and organisations willing to – help raise our profile, promote interprofessional working and education, contribute to the development of nursing excellence, healthcare research, practice delivery, increase publicity, resource development, act as student and patient representatives, and friends of LSSNMAIA. That current openings require immediate appointment and or placement of suitably qualified and self-driven volunteers. We have to re-confirm previously nominated officers at both executive and non-executive level as well as acting officers awaiting official recognition.
